Mandated Properties

To support wide interoperability, IMPI requires the data transfer channel to be an Internet-domain socket. In addition, the following must be true:

• 1 $\leq$ IMPI_Pk_ackmark $\leq$ IMPI_Pk_hiwater
• 1 $\leq$ IMPI_Pk_maxlen
• 32767 $\leq$ IMPI_Tag_ub $\leq$ 2147483647
